Frustrated with opus 5 I switched to 4.6 in Claude code and it was so much better Easier to understand, follows instructions properly, tells me exactly what I need to know and nothing else. And I don’t know if anyone else faced this problem but I was facing issues when creating subagents with fable. Despite my clear instructions to use opus and sonnet subagents it used to use fable. But with opus 4.6 it spawned the subagents with the correct model and effort level. For those who want to try : /model claude-opus-4-6[1m] submitted by /u/Dragon_God_Slayer
