I find Opus 5 very pleasant to work with. I have not yet encountered any annoyances like in many reports here.
Maybe it is in the way I work.
I always keep the context as fresh as possible, restarting a session whenever docs and solution are consistent.
I mostly set it to Max effort and Auto mode.
I mostly provide just two small (self-made) skills: keeping-it-simple and writing-asd-ste100. These skills have a major impact on Opus 5’s behavior.
In most projects I instruct Claude to use and maintain a requirements.md and a dev-plan.md, which contains enough information to rebuild (a near copy of) the entire solution.
Anyone else have positive experience with Opus 5? What is your way of working? And what have you learned to avoid?
