Preface that I’m all for Bronze if it allows people to play in a way that feels fun for them! I just feel a bit out of the loop on the appeal haha because you I feel like you can already play this way as a Main. Iron is a different game experience so I understand making a second account to have a fresh take on the game. Bronze feels like you have the biggest pain point of Iron, being stuck until drop, without the biggest appeal point of Iron, acquiring everything by yourself. We still have the Collection Log and I definitely still feel the satisfaction when I get a new drop from a boss. If you wanted to, you could just play Main and lock yourself to a boss until you get the drop. Outside of that, it feels like Bronze is a super surface level experience. You need to kill one dragon before you can buy Prayer like a Main. Pickpocket Master Farmers for a few minutes before you can buy your seeds. Kill a few Mammoths to earn the right to buy Prayer Pots on the GE. I don’t know haha, I feel like I’m missing something with Bronze hype. I guess this is just a defense of Main as a viable way to play with the freedom to choose how you play it. submitted by /u/fuffernoose
