One of my friends recently had an exam that didn’t go as well as he hoped, and I want to say something that actually makes him feel better. I don’t want to hit him with the usual “it’s okay, don’t overthink it, you’ll do better next time” because I feel like that can sometimes sound dismissive. If someone genuinely tried their best but still feels bad about how it went, what would you actually say to them that might make them feel a little better? Something genuine and comforting, without dismissing their disappointment So, men of Reddit, if you had a really bad exam or interview and were feeling disappointed about it, what would you genuinely want your friend to say to you? What kind of reassurance would actually help? submitted by /u/New_Positive_1692
