**UPDATE: was just informed by my swe friend at meta that he rarely uses opus over sonnet for coding out of fear of blowing team budget - hmmm. I’m building an iOS app using Swift frameworks (mostly plug-and-play, plus UI mockups from Claude). I use Opus 5 in my project folder via the claude code desktop app (not cli in terminal), yet I hit usage limits rapidly with concise prompts and minimal output. When should i switch from opus 5 high to other models? Would OpenAI Codex (or Cursor / GitHub Copilot) be better suited for this use case? Non-technical btw. submitted by /u/ypradeel12
