F2P is meant to be an introduction to the world of OSRS, and I think having cats and dogs available to non-members would be a good way to introduce players to the world of pets without compromising the integrity of skilling/boss/minigame pets being P2P grinds. Not to mention it would make F2P worlds a lot more lively and engaging if everyone had pet cats and dogs running around. The release of A Ruff Situation is the perfect time to convert Gertrude’s Cat to an F2P quest, as they both fit well with each other thematically. submitted by /u/asmallthrowaway9
