I’m considering going from my current pro plan to a max plan (5x or 20x, not sure yet). But I’m wondering about something. I still have several days left on my pro plan. So what will happen to those days? Will I be given usage credits for it? Will it be added on to my usage per day/week? Will it be added to the end of my Max plan? Will it be lost? Also, as an aside, would you guys recommend 5 or 20? I’m not exactly swimming in cash, so the 20x one is a lot of money for me… But at the same time, I’m working on a project where all I want to do is have help completing that project. After that, I don’t really need Claude anymore. So that’s why I’m doubting if maybe I should get 20x since it is cheaper per token, basically. So if I spend 4 months using x5 or 1 month using 20x in that sense doesn’t matter, and the latter would be cheaper. But, again, not exactly swimming in money atm. Edit: So I found out that you get whatever you did not use subtracted from the purchase price of the new subscription, for anyone else who might’ve been wondering. However, I have a different question now. Does anyone here have experience with asking Anthropic for refunds on Claude subscriptions? Because I’m seriously considering getting Max 20x but it’s quite expensive for me. And if I end up not needing nearly as much usage, I’d like to be able to get a refund at least for the tokens I haven’t used. I live in the European Economic Area and normally you get a 14 day refund. But it’s not like you can send tokens back. So is it a partial one? A full one?
