I’m a 26 year old male living with family in a small developing country facing high youth unemployment and heavy nepotism (similar to Lesotho, Eswatini or Rwanda). Living at home makes dating, building personal independence tough or living in general hard, so my immediate goal is to reach a $500 USD/month baseline to afford a 1-bedroom place, basic transport, and full self-sufficiency. I hold a degree in Business Administration and have completed three internships, but I’ve been stuck unemployed for over a year due to the restricted local market, nepotism and corruption. I’m looking for backstories/roadmaps/blueprints/ advice from those who successfully made this leap. submitted by /u/MathematicianDry6015
