I am a slightly autistic guy (27) and trying to get into dating (ik what a shocking and original story on this app lol). I am fairly high functioning and social but struggle with intricacies of socializing like sarcasm, reacting to jokes, and have a unique tone. I can make friends well and have things to talk about, but I speak slower and have to think about what to say. I have to ask extra questions to understand a story or what’s been told. I make sure I am not interrupting people when I talk, and not speaking too loudly for public environments. I struggle w that but it’s gotten better. With friends I just kinda be myself and say shit and have thigns to talk about usually (usually tryna reference a common interest/experience, environmental occurrence, show/movie, or big story happening). Idk how to seem charming and stuff or have “game” as kids these days say. How should I deal with dating? How do I flirt without coming on like a creep, cringe, tryhard?
