A couple of nights ago I was driving to pick my wife up from the airport. Inside Weiach (Aargau) a Zoll policeman stood in the street, stopping cars (wasn’t just me). He asked me to roll down the back window so he could look with a flashlight (am I allowed to refuse?), and then asked where I was heading, where I came from, and what I do for a living. When I said “programmer” he did a double take, said “so you don’t work at the airport?”. I confirmed I don’t, and he sent me on my way. At no point did he ask to see a driver’s license or any other form of identification, nor did he run the plates of the car. The entire exchange took around 2 minutes. Does anyone have any idea what that might have been about? submitted by /u/CompuSAR
