Been working on an open-source alternative to Grok Bot that builds off Open Claw this week and of course, any work on such a project should include a decent security audit. Knowing that Fable will often kick you off if it even thinks you are doing security work - I explicitly asked fable to rout the task to my openAI sub hoping that at least enough time has passed since this was pushed on us for Anthropic to have improved their approach to this - but I was completely mistaken - basically lost control of the session as it started flipping back to Opus 4.8 and now im fairly worried given that I was doing this in my orchestration repo that the context/content there is now just going to be forever poisoned whenever I try to pick up work on the project and will just flip me off again. It’s kind of insane to me that this is still even happening when Codex just doesn’t let you look at the thinking trace when this type of stuff triggers it’s own checks imposed by the government or whatever - that seems like the customer friendly/sane solution to this issue - why Anthropic is continuing to punish and nanny their users for otherwise vanilla security audit work is beyond me. I feel kind of like an idiot as I otherwise love Claude/Fable and am very happy with it, have 2 max20 accounts, but stuff like this is just beyond frustrating and given there are 0 human beings you can reach out to for helps or tips as to what to do its even more miserable - with all the fucking money Anthropic makes you think they could at least try to at a minimum offer the same kind of effort on their sub customers that OpenAI does but I guess that would be too much to ask lol - my fault for probably having a favorite AI company given thats like having a favorite oil company or something. Sorry for the rant, any tips are also appreciated if other people have ran into this and figured out a solution - my main harness/setup is to run fable as an orchestrator between other models between anthropic and other companies. submitted by /u/lerugray
