I was honestly expecting a bit of a slap on the wrist with the Coral changes, but this feels like they went way too far. I want to focus specifically on the highest tier: Umbral. There are already a ton of requirements and side steps involved before Umbral Coral actually turns into Herblore XP: 77 Farming for Umbral Coral 64 Sailing to access the relevant content 77 Hunter for the Rainbow Crabs needed as a secondary Fine fish offcuts are required as bait, which themselves are another resource to obtain and process You have to wait 2 hours for the coral to grow before you can harvest it and they have a high decease rate And that’s before you even get to the Herblore side of things. This isn’t a case of “plant coral and then get free millions of Herblore XP.” There is a pretty substantial chain of requirements, multiple skills involved, additional resources to gather, and a significant time gate with an extremely high decease rate unless you pay in this case another coral yields for them to be decease free. That’s why I think the nerf is overtuned. I completely understand wanting to bring down the top end yield, especially if the numbers were getting out of hand at 99 Farming But there is a difference between bringing them to a more healthy place than nuking them across the board. Also all the sources got a nerf across the board so it’s actually even harder to obtain them now Absolutely agree needed a nerf. I just don’t think it needed to be hit this hard. submitted by /u/XtremeLeecher
