Both Claude/Codex have 30 days data retention and are allowing human reviews and product improvement (but not model training.) The only privacy preserving option is Cursor with Legacy Privacy mode (b/c all Cursor’s API are ZDR compliant, unlike Claude and Codex subs), but Legacy Privacy is going away and Cursor in general much worse usage quota ($3.5k monthly usage vs Claude/Codex’s ~$12k).
