Dealing with a situation where a small group of ex girlfriends have been spreading false claims about me. online posts, some contact with people close to me, and it escalated to physical flyers in public places at one point. I’ve got a lawyer involved and things have started to calm down, but I’m trying to figure out how people who’ve been through something similar actually got through it, not just the legal side. A few things I’d love perspective on: How long did it realistically take before things actually felt over, even after the legal stuff was handled? Did you ever reach out directly to the people involved, or was staying completely silent the right call the whole way through? I’ve reached out right at the beginning for clarification because a lot of this has left me blindsided but was ignored. Anything you wish you’d done differently, in hindsight? Not looking for legal advice, more just how did you personally get through the waiting and uncertainty part. Feeling really defeated and confused at the moment. submitted by /u/Egglatz
