So I have been a documentary lover, and I have watched really old documentaries in 1940s teaching people science and engineering particularly involving US military the guy narrating expectedly has a strong serious voice. I loved those really elaborate detailed cartoons on how pumps engines etc work. Then space documentaries in 60s, Bermuda Triangle and Aliens in 70s dinosaur documentaries in 80s,90s and 2000 continued this way. After that men’s voice gets softer and softer. Why on earth is that? Who thought they didn’t want a serious voice? Science/Truth/Technical/Mystery things is supposed to be serious. submitted by /u/PrebioticE
