Hi, Recently I’m going thru some stuff where everything just feels mentally exhausting from a lot of things that life has thrown at you and once burnout comes; your mind could go crazy about the things in your life right now that feels fine. It’s like your nervous system is dysregulated and just feels so tiring that you haven’t come down into a baseline where everything feels peaceful. Once I got a break, all I know is just distractions; from scrolling on TikTok, reading forums on Reddit and watching things and I know I should be resting, and I know this isn’t the only way to do so. I’ve been spending a-lot of time on my phone and distractions don’t feel relaxing, rather dopamine feels increased. If I stop spending time on my phone, not only I will neglect my work, I feel like I had no idea what to do after I stop spending time with my phone. I feel like I need a 2 month vacation just to get back on track! If anyhow possible. I’ll rest after I post this forms but, I want us men to try and share experiences for us to learn not how to be a freaking robot and actually be a human when work life, exams or any mentally challenging thing just hits us randomly. submitted by /u/Admirable-Cloud-9954
