Permanently deleting items is insane. I know of multiple people who have lost a lot of stuff after dying at nex because they forget to equip god items (OR because they disconnect) when retrieving their lost items. It’s devastating for a main, and even more devastating if it happens to an Ironman. If sending items to death’s office would in some way be OP, just add the deathbank tax to the normal retrieval tax submitted by /u/West-Solid5961
