Both my parents were not that present in my life because of work when i was a child, i never lacked anything, food or clothing wise, but most of my childhood was pretty much getting back from school, being given food by one of my parents, and then locked in the house and told to not open the door to anyone until they returned from work. Since im a single child, and always lived outside of the city, where rent was cheap i grew up on my own in a lot of topics. Socializing, flirting, making friends, drugs, dealing with strangers and danger, i have to learn it one way or another. One of the things i noticed is that i have learn valuable lessons in the worst ways possible, too many traumas that technically i caused myself cuz i didnt know better, now i do…but im still amazed and somehow jealous of youger people when i advise them, i wish i had had someone to coach me a little while growing up, but it was raw life who did it. submitted by /u/IwasntDrunkThatNight
