It’s unrealistic, I think, to out of nowhere expect 2+ characters at once for a single membership. Sure, maybe with a highly effective boycott or something it’d be doable, but we all know most of us are too hopelessly addicted to accomplish that. It is also unrealistic to expect them to fix a decades-long complex issue of logging into RS3 and OSRS on the same char at the same time. Makes sense for us, but maybe not for them, at least based on what they’ve said about it. So, the real thing we should be asking for: Change memberships from character based to account based. If I pay for 1 membership, it should be a license for any one character on my account to be in a member’s world at once. If I log off my iron and swap to my main, both should be allowed membership access, as long as it’s 1 at a time. If I want the ability to multi-log and have 2 characters logged in on a member’s world at once, then I should need 2 memberships active at once. 3 for 3, and so on. This would allow people to try a new account type without being punished immediately if they don’t like it, even allow multiple characters to enjoy membership access with one membership, just not simultaneously. Charge for the equivalent of access tokens. When we buy membership or redeem a bond, allow us to extend a current membership pipeline or start a new one. Maybe they require a 15 minute (more or less) cool down when swapping a different character to a member’s world to prevent niche abuse cases, but the premise would be the same. Let me know what you think. This still allows them to charge 1 per character for efficiency scapers, content creators, etc. while still allowing more casual players to experiment and experience the game more freely. Best of both worlds for both sides. submitted by /u/KingKj52
