Pretty much what the title says. I noticed that one of my acquaintances is quite high up in the SVP party (which I don’t really care about). The research confirms that he is not born Swiss, both of his parents immigrated here and he got his Swiss passport not so long ago. Where is the logic? His family wouldn’t be able to come to Switzerland with the current SVP agenda. Shouldn’t SVP practice what it preaches and only accept people who are born Swiss (i.e. one of the parents is Swiss?) submitted by /u/Fine-Click-1153
