Recently, my girlfriend took a video of me and she was commenting on how weirdly I walk. I didn’t get what was so weird about my gait until my best pal watched the video and explained to me more clearly how I walked. Shoulders slouching, the back is usually bent slightly forward and my legs go like duck-feet. I have flat-feet too and if I am not consciously walking, I tend to get my right foot to go more bent outward while my left foot remains fairly straight and okay. Also, they have all said that I always walk with very long steps and being short-heighted, I look ridiculous. As if I am on a hurry all the time. As if I am not walking casually and something is always going on in my head. When I walk beside my girl, I tend to outpace her very quickly and she feels I walk too fast. In fact, one of my friends said I wobble up and down a lot while walking. It looks a bit bouncy and wobbly if that makes sense. Another thing- I have a tendency to stand with my feet spread in a picture. A huge gap between two legs. Much like knock-knees as my lower legs bend more backwards at the joints like a forward slash (/). Standing with my feet together doesn’t come naturally to me. So, how do you consciously change the way you walk and stand? Has anyone else struggled with this and overcame it? submitted by /u/Cool_Blue9606
