So my innocent daughter 20 has been talking to an innocent guy 22 in another state for 1.5 years. Recently he flew in to first time meet her for her 20th bday and our family. He stayed 4 days at our house, they slept separately obviously. He seems like a good kid, decent family from india, he is educated and working in a good paying job, really into church, don’t party, no drugs, everything I was not at his age haha! From what my daughter says, he’s serious about her and they are on the potential path of marriage before sex which I think is fabulous and we’ll see how things go. I want to support them and give them the best chance possible. I got his phone number before he left and was thinking about texting him to develop communication.
