They’re not the best XP/h methods for these skills or the pinnacle of fun (let’s be honest, MM isn’t fun at all), but they add a lot to the game: Flavor and roleplay that match the skills: In MM, you have to mix and process potions, which is what Herblore is supposed to be about. In Giant’s Foundry, you have to smith a sword almost from scratch, going through the five main processes of swordsmithing. In Mahogany Homes, you have to construct and repair things. Good XP/h: They’re not the best methods, enough to kill off the old skilling methods, but they’re good enough to stay relevant. Good rewards: And in all three pieces of content, the rewards help make old skilling methods relevant! Make a lot of items relevant: For both Ironmen and main accounts, Giant’s Foundry gives you the opportunity to use finished smithing products and recycle them. Mastering Mixology makes low-level herbs relevant at all levels. That’s just it. I really love how well these minigames have expanded their respective skills and created new ways to level them up while keeping the flavor of each skill. submitted by /u/JordhanMK
