The last times a big storm hit, with some hail, I diligently used MeteoSwiss app to report it, with an easy click - hail. Also, when I consulted the forecast, I could see the hail reported by the users before the storm arrived. This time… nothing in the app warned of upcoming hail, and I when I went to report the gigantic ones that had just collapsed around us, a new feature appeared - I had to add size details and a photo and then it seemed I was the only report. I understand they might have changed the system to avoid fake reports, but wow, what a stupid time to roll that out. Now I am one of the 10s of thousands that has to get a car fixed, when I could have drove it away with some warning. submitted by /u/Ok_Pineapple1225
