I gave Opus a fairly simple task, essentially take a bug finding and solve it. The prompt was as simple and concise as I could get it to be: I asked it to check a cloud formation template before it tried to build on it and error out. It took something like ~200k tokens to solve that after giving me the most annoying jargon. Not sure if it’s just that AND the 5hr limits, but running out of usage in an hour or so max nowadays. I wanted to just focus on my project but had to do a side project in giving each session/question a token budget which I feel like I shouldn’t have to do. I don’t really want to add more bloat with skills and mcp’s but I’m over optimizing prompts to get to a point of fair usage. submitted by /u/getnable
