While building cross-platform todo app - I noticed something beautifully ironic: my development process was anything but lightweight. The spec writer, spec reviewer, rewriter, planner, and plan reviewer consumed most of the model budget before the coding agent touched the Electron/TypeScript app. So I replaced the agent bureaucracy with three levels: FAST: brief -> code -> tests STANDARD: mini spec -> one approval -> code FULL: the architecture-heavy workflow, only for genuinely risky changes Apparently AI agents can recreate enterprise bureaucracy remarkably well-including the meetings, paperwork, and cost. submitted by /u/son_o_gong
