Original Reddit post

At work clients say “Silly-V, I am having trouble… understanding… you” , and co-workers jump in with “what he’s saying is… <50-50 on whether they really know what I was saying>” - and I have had the smartest programmers (in my field) be stumped by the most rudimentary things I say when I try to say it most clearly. I did some reddit post the other month or year, all hand-typed and comments were like “and you used AI to write this”? Total invalidation! But fast forward to a month or two ago, and everyone’s complaining Opus5 is insufferable. For some reason I can read it just fine. I talk to it about things relatively in my domain, and I read its miles-long stuff, cause I need to guide it, otherwise it can mess up. So - I think I speak normal but 99% of everyone acts like it’s gibberish coming out my mouth-hole. And for some reason, I experience zer0 of the frustration everyone else has with Opus5. Coincidence? I think… maybeeeee ?

Or, maybe I’m just lucky for now and any minute now, it will catch up and I will too start to complain about it. Well, I’m waiting, maybe I will eat my words soon? Hasn’t happened yet tho! submitted by /u/Silly-V
