My boyfriend of 5 months is in a custody battle which ofc is slow going and chaotic at times. I have come to peace with the fact I will be on the sidelines as his job (so he can support his daughter) and his daughter, come first. That fact is hard at times but I just focus on myself and my friends and building my career while he navigates this stress. Though all of it I have fallen for him. I love him. Should I tell him this even though he has so much on his plate? Do I wait for him to tell me first so then at least I know he’s ready for that kind of commitment?
