Anyone had any surprisingly positive experience w naturalisation in canton of zurich, where applied early (10yrs in country reached but last 2yrs in city zrh interrupted by an 11month stay abroad, but family remained in switzerland, c permit got suspended etc) and based on cover letter they leaned positive? Is it worth trying in any case? Any punishment for later filing if rejected? I returned in the meantime so would be applying after abt 6month of my return, but keen to NOT wait 2 more yrs… submitted by /u/vwm_
