So, this happened over the weekend and I’m feeling embarrassed lf for being naive. I’m 22, a while ago I was out with a few of my guy friends in our college town. We ended up chatting with a group of 3 girls. Nothing crazy or too weird, just cool, random chatter I guess. We all exchanged numbers and instagram handles. I hung out in person with one of them three times after that Everything seemed totally fine. Then, she starts messaging me online, I took it friendly but she went the other way and started flirting pretty heavily with no input from me (Like genuinely 0 input, I never hit on her I swear to god) she brought up the fact she just broke up w her bf and I tried to be nice about it and ask how she’s geeling and she said like yeah I don’t need your pity, like damn ok, We talk casually for some time until this Friday she says she might come over. Right before she’s supposed to head out she says she’s starving and asks if we can eat, I say sure and ask if we should meet somewhere, she plays a long but after awhile asks if I’ll order her some food on Uber Eats to her place first so she can eat before coming. I figured, she’s coming over, might as well be and treat her. I place the order and she never asked for the PIN code but I sent it withour her asking or thinking about it, I now figure I should’ve waited for her to ask. Ten minutes later, she texts me saying essentially saying, "Hey, the food never arrived“ and starts questioning me if I did really send it so I screenshot the recepit, I called the Uber Eats driver. The guy was chill and told me he handed it directly to a girl outside the apartment and she knew my name. I asked him to describe who picked it up hair eye, color etc. It was her. Anyhow I messaged her back and played a long saying it mustve been stolen. she cancels on me for the day; we keep chatting for a few more days, she asks me for money, I play dumb and obviously don’t send it, im not that naive. She gets offended at the idea of hanging out with me again and started acting super aggressive when I asked if she wanted to do it on Sunday, keep in mind the 3 times we did hang out she didn’t spend a single dime. A few hours ago I go blocked, she texted me this morning btw. She played me. Weird because I know where she lives and the door number because of the uber eats (obviously I won’t do anything) and I know that my guy friends probably still follows her and her 2 friends, but yeah.
