I’m in my early 30s and find myself in a position where I don’t have kids or many obligations tying me down. Lately, I’ve felt like I’m burning my wheels and wondering if I’m wasting a rare window of freedom. Part of me wants to take some chances I might not be able to take later — move somewhere completely different, travel for a while, meet people, experience other cultures, and engage with life a little more fully. The good, the bad, and everything in between. At the same time, I know there’s a difference between genuinely changing your life and simply running away because you’re dissatisfied. For anyone who found themselves in a similar position in their 30s or 40s: what did you do? Did you move abroad? Change careers? Travel? Start a business? Completely reinvent your life? Or did you eventually realize that what you were looking for wasn’t somewhere else? Looking back, what are you glad you did and what do you wish you had done while you had the freedom? submitted by /u/No_Cranberry_7256
