Curious what people here think about this. I bought Claude Max 20x through Apple and even paid the ~$50 App Store premium because I was already on Max 5x and didn’t want to wait for it to expire before upgrading. My issue is the “20x” marketing. I assumed paying $200/month meant a huge increase in overall usage, but the 20x apparently applies to the 5-hour session window while theres a separate weekly limit that can become the real bottleneck. I posted on r/ClaudeAI asking if anyone who bought through Apple had considered requesting a refund, and whether enough legitimate refund requests might get Apple to look at how clearly the plan is being advertised. The post was removed for being “disruptive.” Which is kinda ironic because I was genuinely asking if other paying customers had the same experience. Has anyone else felt misled going from Max 5x to 20x? And has anyone actually tried requesting an Apple refund? For $200/month I just want the limits clearly spelled out before paying, or limits that actually feel competitive with other $200 AI plans. submitted by /u/conorearly
