I mean, when did you go “I guess I’m an adult now”? For me it was when I got my first paycheck at 19, I remember giving all of it entirely to my mom, she took half and gave me back half. She used what I gave her to do house repairs that were on hold for years, and I bought a bunch of shoes and clothes for myself. I remember thinking “I am a man now”. submitted by /u/KalzK
