I posted this ( https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMen/s/I8lKYunKBp ) a month ago. Well, yesterday I broke up with her. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and even though I know it’s what I need it hurts so bad because we love each other very much. Now I’m back at home and my bedroom is full of stuff she gave me. Handwritten cards, flowers, a personalized book, photos… Everything you can imagine. And on top of that my phone gallery is full of images and videos of her. What are you supposed to do with all that? Despite breaking up, these things are still the biggest love gestures I’ve ever recieved and I can’t throw that away. But at the same time, keeping it feels like refusing to let go and if at some point I get into a new relationship idk if she’s gonna be very excited about me keeping my ex’s stuff at home. What did you guys do when you were in a similar position? PD: Worth mentioning we ended on good terms. She didn’t agree with me and wanted to stay together but in the end accepted it and was very mature about it. submitted by /u/ElAutistaDeHamelin
