Disclaimer: I have an Ironman so this would obviously benefit me, but the more I think about it, the more I think it makes sense as an item sink. Allow Ironmen to use their Death’s Coffer balance to purchase the existing bank-space upgrades. At the moment, duplicate valuable drops on an Iron often have very little use. You can put them into Death’s Coffer, but there’s only so much coffer balance you’ll realistically need, so a lot of duplicates eventually get drop-traded to mains and end up on the GE. Giving Ironmen another permanent use for Death’s Coffer would incentivise us to sacrifice those duplicates instead, permanently removing them from the game. I appreciate the current bank-space upgrades are intended to be a GP sink, so this wouldn’t be completely consequence-free. A couple of ways around that could be: Restrict purchasing bank space with Death’s Coffer to Ironmen/HCIM Make bank upgrades cost 10–20% more when paying from Death’s Coffer For example, a 50m bank upgrade could cost 55–60m from the Coffer. It wouldn’t give Ironmen any additional power or skip progression, it would just give duplicate drops another meaningful sink rather than encouraging them to be drop-traded into the main economy. I think this has been suggested before, so I’d also be interested to know if Jagex have ever commented on it or given a reason against it. submitted by /u/spookyboy96
