Hi everyone, Why is there such a strong bias against AI? It feels like I can’t use AI to polish grammar or improve clarity without people instantly dismissing the result as “AI slop” My understanding is that “AI slop” usually means low effort, generic output produced with little human input. But if someone provides their own ideas or data and uses AI simply to refine the wording, is that really the same thing? Am I thinking about this the wrong way? Why do people react so strongly to any hint of AI that they reject the content outright? Do you think this attitude will fade as AI becomes more normal, or is the skepticism here to stay? submitted by /u/forevergeeks
