I often think there is an excellent idea or two but the person writes 20 paragraphs wandering all over the place into, often, adolescent philosophy ideas. So why do people write these long, long posts? Actually, based on the formatting, I feel like they did some simplistic AI prompting to tie together ideas that don’t fit together, or there’s just too much extra baggage To be clear, I often find a very interesting kernel in their posts. But, at best, I scan the post and often just scroll past since I don’t want to spend minutes looking for that kernel - which might be truly excellent? To me, this is just a matter of good writing. Bad writing gets in the way of anyone reading it. submitted by /u/Recent-Day3062
