Friends since middle school. We shared countless laughs, unforgettable memories, and so many moments that became a part of who I am. Then life happened. We went to college, got jobs, moved away, and got busy with everything that comes with growing up. But somehow, through all of it, we always found time for each other and for 16 years, we kept grinding our RuneScape account together. When you lost your father to cancer, runescape became an outlet for you; somewhere you could play, breathe, and forget the pain for a moment. You became an incredible PvMer, always teaching me your tips and tricks for different bosses, while I handled the skilling, quests, merching, and flipping. We each had our role, until that horrific car accident. I logged in again today, and it broke me. I cried even harder seeing everything we built together and realizing you won’t be there with me anymore. But beneath all that pain, I’m grateful. Grateful that we had all those years. Grateful for every late night grind, every boss fight, every laugh, every stupid moment, and every memory attached to that account. Every time I think of runescape, I will think of you. Logging in is going to hurt for a long time, but one day I’ll finish those 99s we never got to finish. I’ll finish them for you. It still does not feel real that a horrific car accident could take you from us so suddenly. There was no warning, no chance to say goodbye, and no way any of us could have been prepared to lose you like this. Your time here ended far too soon. Your father was there waiting for you, and after everything you both went through, you’re together again and finally at peace. Until we meet again in the next life, my friend. Rest in peace, buddy. You will never be forgotten. submitted by /u/Separate_Damage5940
