I just began to use Granola AI and I’m loving it so far. One thing i’ve been doing and it’s been really helpful, perhaps a little psycho, but it works quite well nevertheless, is briefing Granola about every participant I know from every meeting. Then it connects the dots by itself when transcribing. It works wonders. Eg. “John Doe”, CFO of Corp Inc: He majored in finance in columbia, did an MBA at cornell, is charismatic, recently lost his dog in a wildfire, is pissed at me for not sending a report (…)" :Jane Doe, lead software engineer, etc etc etc". Whatever. You get the gist. I do that for most people so when it transcribes each meeting, it kinda knows more about the context, so to speak. Obviously it makes it a little biased but that’s outside of the scope of this post. However, doing that become quite redundant and not worth the time. I’d love to just dump all the information on people, myself, my work, my background and such, into one folder once and keep it there. And maybe even, ideally, have Granola update that automatically as meetings go on (maybe that’s overkill but yeah). I was wondering if every note is part of Granola’s context window, or if it’s just the “notes” of the respective meeting it’s transcribing. Thanks. submitted by /u/AcadiaLow9013
