I wonder if the race between these AI companies to surpass AGI is even more dangerous for America than the entire Cold War. I think it warrants WAY more attention from the public. Between this AI race, Flock cameras, and the tech oligarchy seeming to constrict their grasp on our government, I seem to find myself at the conclusion that this is much worse than the race for Nuclear power… At least for the citizens of the United States, but most likely for the entire world. I’d like to remain optimistic, and I think that there is still time to come together as a people to put a stop to this. But it seems that there is nothing that money can’t buy in this world.
