I love this game, and it’s probably the only game I can see myself playing long term. One thing I especially appreciate about recent updates is that Jagex seems increasingly willing to include low APM ways of doing things alongside more active methods. Dadscape for me isn’t really about wanting an easier game but more so its about having content that can survive my life interruptions. While I can “play” for hours a day and stay logged in with increased log out timers, I can never have a consistent 20-30 minutes to myself in my game. Anything can happen in my day that may result in needing to walk away from my PC for five minutes or an hour with basically no warning. This means that raids are harder for me to commit to with respect of other players times, group bossing or even bosses that require consistent log in time. It’s not that I can’t do these things; when I plan accordingly, I’m able to dedicate an hour or two to play with others. I’m super appreciative of recent updates such as Wyrm agility course being lower APM (might do that to 99 agil tbh), sailing as a whole having an entire afk branch of leveling, and most new updates having the lower APM option such as the new trees from Blood Moon Rising. I think this is a really healthy direction for OSRS especially for people in my predicament. I also have some ideas on how we can revive older content to support “Dadscape” but I won’t share them in this post here. This is just my appreciation post towards Dadscape. submitted by /u/Bizarrmenian
