Been an adult for over two decades now, and since I’ve been a youth I haven’t ever been able to ‘find love’. I’ve followed a lot of “successful” people and what they feel are the keys, and it’s always the same major pillars. Either be nice eye candy, or provide a mixture of the following: physical protection, acts of labor, entertainment value, or financial support. All this leaves me feeling so empty. Especially when the pillars above have nothing to do with who you actually are, just what you can provide. It’s easy to say everyone is worthy of love, but it feels like convincing other people that you actually are worthy of love is an entirely different matter. submitted by /u/binary-boy
