I’m 37(m) and recently started approaching women in person. My confidence is up and I feel good approaching just about anyone. Rejection happens, and honestly, I’m completely fine with that. What I’m really struggling to understand is the ghosting after we exchange numbers. Lately, I started offering my number instead of asking for theirs, which has been working way better. But out of the last 6 women who seemed genuinely interested and took my number, 3 of them just never reached out. It’s infuriating because they seem so interested during the approach, and then… total silence. For example, one lady who never texted actually stopped to make sure I spelled my name right on her phone and said, “Thank you so much for approaching me. It made my day”. Then I never heard from her again. Being rejected upfront is fine, but feeling misled is way more frustrating. For the guys who have been through this or still going, how do you cope with it? How do you not let the ghosting get to you? submitted by /u/Ok-One-1741
