Hello, I am in a company where the VP of AI spends a lot of time personally coding and building solutions. I have nothing against leaders being technical and hands-on. But at the same time, I still don’t see a clear AI strategy or a transformation roadmap. This person seems being more like a highly paid tech lead from my point of view, as I expect a VP to think about what we are trying to transform, what we prioritize, and where we should invest. There seems to be no one owning these topics in the company right now. So I am curious about what you see in your companies. Do your VP of AI also spend their time coding? Who is owning the strategy?
