For a long time now I’ve been using Claude Code as my main driver, planning with Fable, implementing with Sonnet or Opus and then running code reviews through Codex. But honestly, Claude just annoys me, I’ve tried adding rules to Claude.md, adding a voice etc. But too often Claude’s responses are overly verbose, jargon heavy nonsense that just makes my day harder. I’ve noticed that Codex is much easier to communicate with, but I’m not overly comfortable letting it loose on my projects that have been designed and scaffolded around Claude’s context. So I’m thinking about using Codex simply as an interpreter/translation layer, a middle man to cut the nonsense. Anyone else running this setup?
