one my friend gave me a hug when i needed the most, she didn’t know what was i going through emotionally. It lasted for about 3 - 4 seconds and it healed me. I have zero interest for her romantically, and I find it really really hard to ask for a hug from anyone being a dude. Whenever I see female friends or women in general, when they meet up, they all give themselves a big solid hug. But this never happens between men, cool daps or handshakes, yes, but hugs are either weird or solid hugs are awkward. Am i in the minority? Edit: Usually I don’t like people touching me either, and what I meant by “going through emotionally” is that someone who I’d look up to be my brother, passed away; fucked up school grade; toxic roommates who talk shit about me and body shame me while I pretend to be asleep or listening to music, first time panic attack, unable to see my family/friends for a very long time due to my school; single for my entire life for career reasons and mid life/identity crises submitted by /u/Expensive_Food9179
