Started vibe-coding on a very serious project almost a year ago. 1000 hours so far. Started out with Sonnet then. Moved to Opus 4.5 as soon as that was available and affordable. Opus 4.5 felt like a noticeable step up from Sonnet, but I don’t really feel there’s been as much progress as much of the hype suggests. Sure, Fable is the best, but is it really that much better than say Opus 4.6 or 4.8? To me the difference seems marginal. People keep talking about how insanely fast these models are improving, but it feels a bit exaggerated to me. Thoughts? submitted by /u/Tradovator
