I feel like a lousy BF and I’m kind of hating myself. I went out with my gf and while we were separated someone stared at her chest (who’s not wearing a bra under her shirt), whispered something under his breath then smiled at her. This happened over maybe 2 seconds. She told me this and I asked who. She pointed and then I asked whether she wants me to say something to him. She said no and we finished the shop. On the way home she said she felt really creeped out and then said she doesn’t think I’d say something even if she asked me to. This took me back a lot and now I’m feeling hardcore depressed. Should I have just walked up and told him to keep his eyes to himself? I feel like a crappy bf and I also now feel like my GF doesn’t think much of me. While I trust that someone stared at her, she does have social anxiety and tends to think the worst of situations. For example, some kids laughed the other day while we were out and she just assumed they were laughing at her. What would you do in this situation? submitted by /u/conzo97
