I’m building stage-gen, an open-source asset pipeline. These three development experiments turn reference illustrations and written briefs into textured, rigged 3D models. The video pairs the original art with a motion test. The useful lesson was in the rigging stage. Both human characters needed local skin-weight corrections after their automatic motion reviews failed. Having a skeleton in the exported file did not establish that the character deformed well. The pink-sweater character still has shoulder/braid stretching, and the cat folds around the belly/hip. I used existing Mixamo Samba motion in Blender to expose those problems. The choreography was supplied. Faces are fixed, with no secondary hair or cloth animation. These are selected outputs, not a success-rate benchmark. A practical inspection step: the bunny-hood character’s public GLB contains shoulder, elbow and knee diagnostics. Check those poses before deciding that a rig is useful. The bundled clips are diagnostics and a cheer, not Samba. The generation workflow uses a local CLI, Blender and paid-provider keys; its current supported profile is narrower than these experiments.
