I’m a gim, I share good gear and other items with my brother. Was putting shared items back in storage and in my tired state I hit 1 to confirm without reading, thinking I was disassembling it the same way I press 1 to confirm removing basilisk jaw from faceguard. Then suddenly it was gone. I didn’t even know it had a destroy option? Why does something that runs for 10m on the ge have a destroy option at all to begin with? Clan said maybe because the assembled version is untradeable, but most untradeable items don’t have a destroy option. None of us even knew that it had a destroy option to begin with either. RIP, I used that thing so much. Jagex please remove the destroy option from chugging barrels so others don’t make the same mistake I do. I cannot think of a reason that would exist let alone ever be used. Edit: Dismantling the nezzy faceguard or removing a scroll of imbuing has a confirmation as well, and I do those all the time when putting gear back in. I’m tired, I’ve done these things a lot, I just hit 1 fast to confirm. There’s no destroy options. Yes the confirmation exists, but the point of this is that the destroy option being there at all is dumb and to tell other people so they don’t make the same mistake. submitted by /u/Vaultaiya
